MILAN CITY TAX

Starting from 1st September 2012, Milan City Council has introduced a city tax for tourists staying overnight in Milan.

Tourists will have to pay the levy upon check out in addition to the hotel bill as follows:
€ 5,00 per person per night for guests staying at 5-star hotels
€ 4,00 per person per night for guests staying at 4-star hotels
€ 3,00 per person per night for guests staying at 3-star hotels

Biography

Şahin Civelek graduated with Industrial Engineering degree from Çukurova University.

He has joined to Hayat Kimya Company as Converting Production Engineer in 2005. Since the first step of Hayat Kimya into the Tissue Industry, he is handling all manufacturing operations of Converting division. He is acting as Converting Production Manager since 2011. All domestic and overseas Converting Investment projects of Hayat Kimya are progressing under his responsibility.

Şahin Civelek having an administration master degree at Kocaeli University can speak English fluently and taking a role in some social responsibility projects related to Education.

Şahin Civelek lisans eğitimini Çukurova Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği bölümünde tamamlamıştır.

Hayat Kimya’ya 2005 yılında Konverting Üretim Mühendisi olarak katıldı. Hayat Kimya’nın Kağıt sektörüne adım attığı ilk günden bugüne, tüm Konverting üretim faaliyetlerinden sorumlu oldu. 2011 yılından bugüne Konverting Üretim Müdürlüğü yapmaktadır. Hayat Kimya’nın tüm Yurt İçi ve Yurt Dışı Konverting projeleri, Şahin Civelek’in sorumluluğunda ilerlemektedir.

Kocaeli Üniversitesi’nde İşletme Yüksek Lisansı’yapmış olan Şahin Civelek, ingilizceyi akıcı olarak konuşmakta ve eğitim ile ilgili bazı sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde görev almaktadır.

Biography

Joined Kemira Paper Chemicalsin 2013 as “Tissue Specialist EMEA”, to focus on Tissue Manufacturing specifically for wetend and yankee chemistry developments and applications; after many years of focusing on the commercial site of tissue manufacturing.

Started my career within the paper chemicals industry in 1990 with PIRA International and gained five-year’s experience in paper chemicals research and development. Now focus on tissue. Has a varied and wide knowledge in the tissue chemicals industry and has worked for a number of the larger Global Paper Chemical Suppliers in Europe within technical sales.

Has experienced in fibre preparation (RCF), tissue manufacturing (AFH – towel & tissue) and converting as Mill Manager at a UK tissue mill.

A Ph.D graduate in Bio-inorganic chemistry.

Uzun yıllar temizlik kağıdı sektörünün satış bölümünde yer aldıktan sonra, temizlik kağıdı üretiminde özellikle Yaş kısım ve yankee kimyasal geliştirme ve uygulamalarında yoğunlasmak üzere Kemira Kağit Kimyasalları’na “Temizlik kağıdı uzmanı EMEA” olarak 2013 yılında katıldım.

Kariyerime, 1990 yılında kağıt kimyasalları sektöründe, Pira International’da başladim ve burada kağıt kimyasalları araştırma ve geliştirme bölümünde beş yıllık bir tecrübe edindim. Avrupa’daki bir cok büyük uluslararasi kağıt kimyasalları üretici firmalarin teknik satış bölümünde yer aldım. Şu anda temizlik kağıdı sektörüne yönelmiş olarak , temizlik kağıdı üretiminde geniş tecrübe ve bilgim bulunmaktadır .

Fabrika Müdürü olarak görev yaptığım UK temizlik kağıdı fabrikasında, elyaf hazırlama (RCF) temizlik kağıdı üretimi (AFC-havlu & temizlik kağıdı) ve konverting konularında uzmanlaştım.

Inorganik Kimya alanında Ph.D derecem bulunmaktadir.

The Technical Sessions will be divided into six categories, although other topics of technical innovation are of course welcome.

The categories are:

1. Innovations and Improvements
2. Energy and Water Management
3. Raw Material and Chemical Management
4. Converting, Packaging, Wrapping and Logistics
5. Fiber and Stock Preparation
6. Training (health, safety and qualification of personnel)

These guidelines for presenters need to be respected.

Presentations:

1. Must cover new, innovative technology for local and regional tissue makers and converters.
2. Priority will be given to presentations prepared in cooperation with mill personnel (case studies).
3. Presentations must be non-commercial andshould not be a sales pitch. Emphasis should be on the solutions and benefits offered to the tissue business.
4. High quality visual aids, such as clearly readable text, graphs and charts, should be used. (15 slides maximum will be allowed in the final powerpoint presentation).

5. 20 minutes maximum will be allocated for technical presentations.

 

Abstract:

1. The abstract should not exceed 200 words
2. Include topic and title (please indicate the category)
3. Name and job title, including short biography max. 100 words and portrait

The selection and inclusion of the abstracts will be done on a first come first served basis, on the above mentioned requirements and relevance to the conference program.

Final presentations in English should be sent to:

Biography

Xavier Mathieu received his Paper Engineering degree from The French Engineering School of Paper and Printing EFPG-Pagora located in Grenoble (F). He spent almost 10 years in Metso Paper (nowadays Valmet) where he started to work in the paper and board machine rebuilds field. He later took the position of both sales and application manager for roll services and implemented the first Metso Polyurethane covers for Tissue machines.

Since then, he has being travelling to many of EMEA countries and particularly to Turkey and Middle East. He joined BTG Eclépens in 2014 with the target to support customers to use Ceramic High Performance Creping and Cleaning Blades in Italy, Greece and Turkey and to promote the most recent and advanced services for Tissue market such as BTG PROdry™ high precision thermal imaging of the Yankee and BTG Vigilance™ vibration monitoring solution.

 

Özgeçmiş

Xavier Mathieu, eğitimini Grenoble’da bulunan Fransız Kağıt ve Matbaa Mühendislik Okulu EFPG-Pagora’da Kağıt Mühendisliği bölümünde tamamladı. Yaklaşık 10 yıl boyunca Metso Kağıt’ta (şimdiki adıyla Valmet) kağıt ve mukavva makinelerinin yeniden yapılanması alanında çalıştı. Ardından silindir hizmetlerinde hem satış hem de uygulama müdürü pozisyonunda görev alarak Metso Poliüretan kaplama sisteminin Temizlik kağıdı makinelerinde ilk uygulamasını gerçekleştirdi.

O zamandan bu yana, başta Türkiye ve Orta Doğu olmak üzere çok sayıda EMEA ülkesine seyahat etmektedir. İtalya, Yunanistan ve Türkiye’deki müşterilere Yüksek Performanslı Seramik Krepleme ve Bıçak Temizleme sistemlerini kullanmada destek hizmeti verme ve temizlik kağıdı pazarına yönelik tasarlanmış Yankee için BTG PROdry(tm) yüksek hassasiyetli termal görüntü cihazları ve BTG Vigilance(tm) vibrasyon görüntüleme çözüm sistemleri gibi en yeni ve gelişmiş hizmetlerin kullanımını yaygınlaştırma hedefiyle 2014 yılında BTG Eclépens’a katılmıştır.
