Peter Shipp is a leader of new product innovation and commercialization. He has a proven track record of developing highly successful and award winning products around the globe.With over 30 years of experience in innovation, new product development and commercialization in both the consumer and B2B space, Mr. Shipp has worked with both corporate giants such as Kimberly-Clark Corp, 3M, SC Johnson and with open innovation partners and start-up companies. He holds over a dozen patents and has been instrumental in developing and commercializing a diverse portfolio of products including consumer wipers, industrial hygiene products, medical supplies, HVAC air filters, and agricultural frost and freeze protection products. Notable examples are Business Week’s 2004 Product of the Year – Oral B®s Brush Ups™ Tooth Wipe and the Kleenex® and Scott® brand MOD* towel tissues and soap dispensers. Many of his products have received industry recognition and awards. In total, his products have generated well over $1 Billion in sales.As president of InnGage Solutions, Mr. Shipp works directly with clients to plan and develop strategies for a successful innovation pipeline. He guides them to understand insights in their target markets and in planning for the rapid commercial success of the products they launch.
