New Applied Technology Seminar, 28-29 September 2016
New Applied Technology session topics will be divided into four categories, although other topics of technical innovation are of course welcome. The categories are:
1. Tissue Papermaking Advances
2. Converting, Packaging, Wrapping and Logistics
3. Water and Environment
4. Fibers and Stock Preparation
These guidelines for presenters need to be respected:
1. Presentations must cover new, innovative technology for local and regional tissue makers and converters.
2. Priority will be given to presentations prepared in cooperation with mill personnel (case studies).
3. Presentations must be non-commercial and should not be a sales pitch. Emphasis should be on the solutions and benefits offered to the tissue business.
4. High quality visual aids, such as clearly readable text, graphs and charts, should be used (15 slides maximum will be allowed in the final powerpoint presentation).
5. 20 minutes maximum will be allocated for technical presentations (this includes both English and Turkish presentations including their respective sequential translations).
Deadlines:
1. Confirmed exhibiting companies can submit their abstract by 1 May 2016
2. After 1 May 2016 – the call for papers is also open to non-exhibiting companies.
The selection and inclusion of the abstracts will be done on a first come first served, based on the above requirements and relevance in the conference programme.
Final presentations in both English and Turkish should be sent to agnes.gehot@ubm.com by 31 July 2016 at the latest.
